Our company began operations in 1988 as Garrison Industries, a privately held custom chemical and toll manufacturer. In 1994, the company changed its strategic direction and focused on production of proprietary substituted benzophenones and diphenylacrylates for the UV stabilizer market.Within three years the company developed its line of MAXGARD® UV stabilizers (substituted benzophenones and diphenylacrylates) using proprietary technology.
Andy Harris joined Syrgis as Chief Executive Officer in January of 2007. He has 20 years of management experience in specialty chemicals, oil & gas, process instrumentation and environmental equipment companies, including Betz Chemical (now GE Water and Process Technologies), Endress+Hauser GmbH, and Exxon Company USA.
