Documents
MAXGARD 400 (benzophenone-1) is a light stabilizer that protects plastics and coatings from UV radiation in sunlight. It is soluble in a wide range of solvents, compatible with most polymers and imparts less color to the substrate than most other UV stabilizers when added to a plastic or coating system.
Application Details
MAXGARD 400 is used in plastics, such as polystyrene, acrylic sheet, epoxy and unsaturated polyesters, coatings, such as nitrocellulose lacquers and varnishes, adhesives, such as pressure sensitive acrylic adhesives, and textiles, such as dyed polyester fabrics.
