MAXGARD 1000 (benzophenone-2) is an effective light stabilizer for protecting plastics, coatings and cosmetics from UV radiation damage found in sunlight.
Application Details
MAXGARD 1000 is very compatible with plastic optical lens materials and highly effective as a UV screen in these products. It also provides improved stability in cosmetics and perfumes and improves colors in various applications. MAXGARD 1000 has a very broad absorption band which extends into the UV-A range.
